Thailand's Prime Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, recently held a meeting with Dave Geer, Chief Commercial Officer of Virgin Atlantic, in London. The meeting focused on Virgin Atlantic's plans to launch service to Thailand's popular beach destination of Phuket.
The discussions centered on the airline's upcoming inaugural non-stop direct flight route to Phuket. This development represents a significant milestone for Virgin Atlantic's expansion into Southeast Asia and reflects growing travel connections between the United Kingdom and Thailand.
The direct flight service will provide passengers with a convenient connection to one of Thailand's major tourist hubs, potentially boosting travel and tourism between the two regions. This new route offers travellers a direct travel option to Phuket without the need for connecting flights.
