Nordwind Air Company will begin regular direct flights between Astana, Kazakhstan, and Kazan, Tatarstan, on October 27. The service will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, using Boeing 737 aircraft.
The new route connects the capital of Kazakhstan with Kazan, a major cultural, educational, and business center in Russia. Kazan is known for its historical heritage, culture, and modern infrastructure, attracting many tourists.
This expansion of air links is expected to improve travel options between the two regions. For travellers, the direct flights offer a more convenient way to visit Kazan or connect to other destinations from Astana.
