Home-grown businesses across Singapore are leveraging Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) to connect with visitors through race-themed experiences spanning F&B, crafts, tours, and the arts. The initiative, supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, aims to extend the excitement beyond the Formula 1 circuit.
Lilian Chee, director of sports at the Singapore Tourism Board, said GPSS works with local tourism businesses to create limited-time experiences with a distinctly Singapore flavor, drawing a large international audience and showcasing Singapore globally. She noted that the program allows participating brands to put their products in front of a wider audience while building a collective race-season experience.
Examples include local event organiser Invade running Orchard Paddock 2026 from October 8 to 10 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, featuring late-night dining and performances. Home-grown leathercraft brand Crafune offers race-themed leather keepsake workshops, cocktail bar Cat Bite Club created its Cat Tracks cocktail collection, and local distillery Tanglin Gin introduced Circuit at Dempsey with race-inspired cocktails using its limited-edition 2026 GPSS Gin.
Local operator Let's Go Tour developed three race-season experiences: The Singapore Pulse walking trail, Urban Momentum bicycle tour, and Heat is On! interactive tabletop tour. Kyanta Yap, general manager of Let's Go Tour, said GPSS allows the company to break through conventional marketing channels and gain visibility with broader, lifestyle-driven global audiences.
For travellers, GPSS offers a range of unique, race-themed activities beyond the F1 race itself, providing opportunities to engage with local culture through food, crafts, tours, and entertainment during the Grand Prix season.
