Maybank (Cambodia) Plc. and the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) have concluded MH WellFest Cambodia 2026 at Borey Peng Huoth Eco Park in Phnom Penh. The two-day event, endorsed by the Embassy of Malaysia in Phnom Penh, welcomed around 2,000 visitors and almost 800 runners, with Peng Huoth as venue partner.
The event brought together Cambodian families, 14 participating Malaysian hospitals, healthcare specialists and ecosystem partners. It aimed to demonstrate how stronger ASEAN connectivity can make cross-border healthcare more accessible, allowing visitors to explore healthcare options in Malaysia with greater clarity and confidence.
Visitors engaged directly with hospital representatives to discover Malaysia's healthcare expertise, including health screening, preventive care and treatment options. The Wellness Discovery Hub featured five health talks, and participating hospitals presented exclusive offers for event participants. The WellFest Run, with 5KM and 10KM distances, brought together almost 800 participants.
Maybank's engagement included cross-border payment solutions, EzyPay instalment options, insurance and financing propositions to support healthcare planning. The event marked a milestone in strengthening cross-border healthcare connectivity for Cambodian families.
