Georgia has set a new state tourism record for the fourth year in a row, according to data from the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Governor Brian Kemp highlighted that tourism is one of the state's largest economic contributors.
The state's visitor economy grew over 15 percent from 2019, reaching an all-time high of 175 million domestic and international visitors in 2025. Visitor spending exceeded $46 billion during that period.
The tourism industry supported 473,837 jobs across Georgia. Governor Kemp credited the state's natural wonders, communities, and attractions for drawing both business and leisure travelers.
For travelers, Georgia continues to offer a growing range of destinations and experiences, supported by a robust tourism sector that benefits local economies and employment.
